Your 20 minute helicopter flight will take place at an airfield that was built during WWII by US Army engineers to house ‘Flying Fortress’ bombers. Today the airfield has since shrunk but is still incredibly busy – so just by being there you’ll soak up the buzz! Before taking off you’ll get a full pre-flight briefing on the Robinson R22 helicopter with an experienced helicopter pilot. You’ll then experience the thrill of a 20 minute helicopter flight during which you’ll learn about helicopter flight as well as getting the chance to take the controls of this versatile aircraft.
